Prints .. x2

Florals .. their great for summer and are super cute and chic. The image above is inspiration and below how I wear florals. With florals there is a lot going on so the rest of what you wear should be pretty simple. Minimal to very simple golds and silvers for accessories. With bags and other items of clothing (blazers, light jackets, etc.) you should choose a colour from within the print. Eg. the white bag compliments the lighter and white parts of the dress above.

Tribal and block of colour prints are also really great to wear during the summer, but you can't have a lot going on at the same time. Let one piece of clothing do the work and keep the rest simple just about complimenting each other.

Colour-Blocking Fun ...

So just to make this blog a bit more fashionable..
One of my favourite summer trends is .. COLOUR-BLOCKING.

Pretty obvious by the title... anyway the colour-blocking trend began about a year ago and it literally means an outfit made up of 'blocks' of solid colour.

Okay so here are my Do's and Dont's:

Do's:

-Use colours from the same'family'eg. Primary colours -Blue and yellow are perfect(Royal Blue and Mellow Yellow)

-Go for neutral, metallic or black accessories to keep the look simple and let the colours pop.

Dont's:

-Avoid colours with different shades,use colours with the same level of intensity

-Don't add florals, prints, stripes or patterns of any kind when colour blocking an outfit - it's very circus clownish 

For a more summery way of colour blocking you can use orange with blue, pink and yellow. For a more classy look go with green and black.

A great way to colour block is by using your accessories.

Remember fashion is for expressing yourself and your style so just have fun with it!

Have you ever been loved? 'Cos I loved you once .. a long time ago, but you changed and so did my feelings towards you. Do you notice the difference now that I don't?

Music tells a story. The lyrics of a song are words that can't be spoken but can only be sung. The notes and chords represent the emotions felt by the artists also representing words not yet made to describe such feelings and emotions.

Music also is a great escape. Like a great musical ledgend once said "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain" - Bob Marley.

"All music is beautiful" - Billy Strayhorn. I agree completely. The simple fact that a person can escape from the horrors of this world for the duration of a song and have a moment to themselves is great.

Love Song

In the song it is clear to me Sara is in love and is indirectly writing him a love song by singing she won't write him one .. because he 'asked' for it?
Yup..! Us females are VERY complicated, but that is why they love us and require us do things for them.
This picture is very simple but has a great impact and that line from the song popped into my head, maybe because I sang it today or He was on my mind .. I'll never know ... <3

Knock! Knock! Exams :/

..So.. Summer is finally here and exams are just around the corner. What is the best way to relax and chill for a couple of hours?  Let your hair down!!!Wear a cute outfit like the one above and take a stroll in the park. 


If you don´t have time for that.. make the time. Your brain needs to relax and your hair deserves some freedom too! Eat a chocolate bar and indulge the rich cocoa mmm... chocolate :D


 This cute bowler type hat will protect your hair from the sun and don´t forget to use suncream/lotion and a heat protecting spray on your hair concentrating on your ends. TaTa for now ... !

.. Chemistry ..

I smile at the ground when you approach me .. I pretend my shoes are really interesting just to avoid the 3 second click and connection of our bonding eyes locking .. Our hearts racing with content to know we both feel the same. As those marvellous 3 seconds come to an end the pumping of blood to your precious heart slows down as you walk past failing to acknowledge the moment we just had... After our souls have agreed they are to be we fail to see and it becomes a mystery ...
